Duty Manager

The Position:

The Barry Centre Duty Manager provides support, supervision and First Aid services to the out of hours’ school sport co-curricular activities.  There are various checking tasks that need to be undertaken on a regular basis in relation to the management of the Swimming Pool and First Aid equipment.

We are looking for candidates that are able to work Monday to Friday from 3.30pm-6.30pm (or 7.30pm), with fill in shifts available Saturday mornings. 

*The role does not include assisting teachers or co-curricular program coaches in the conduct, preparation or timetabling of their classes and activities.

About You:

The Duty Manager must possess and be current with all of the following:

  • Pool Lifeguard experience
  • Pool Plant operation experience
  • Working with Children Check (employee) 
  • At least Level 2 First Aid Award
  • EpiPen qualification
  • CPR qualification with Defibrillation component
  • Pool Lifeguard Award
  • Pool Operator’s Certificate
