Business Manager - Manufacturing

We are working with a Perth based company that design and manufacture niche equipment used across the Australian mining and resources industry. This is an exciting career opportunity to join a company experiencing exponential growth and delivering excellent outcomes for their customers.

About the Role

Reporting to the Director, this dynamic role will focus on aligning operational requirements with strategic objectives and driving continuous improvement across the business. There will be a strong emphasis on business growth and leading and developing a culture that drives consistent performance and results.

Key Criteria

To be considered for the role, applicants would need to demonstrate the following experience and skills:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a related area will be viewed favourably
  • You must have operational business management working within a manufacturing, fabrication or engineering environment.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think through complex problems and implement effective and innovative solutions
  • Strong financial acumen, predominantly around P&L, budgets and forecasting
  • A proven track record in business or contract management gained in a hands-on operational environment.
  • Comfortable operating in a growing and changing environment
  • Proven ability to coach, lead, develop and motivate a team to deliver outstanding performance
  • A collaborative leadership style that engages team members at all levels
  • Be a self-starter that can take ownership and manage your own workload.
  • Exceptional sales, business development and relationship building skills
  • Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and develop and implements strategies to achieve increased performance.
  • Applicants must reside in Australia and have current Australian work rights
