Marketing & Communications Manager

Centurion is one of Australia’s largest independently owned and operated logistics (3PL) and transport companies. About the Role

We are currently seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager to join our team in Perth Airport. This position will be reporting to the Executive General Manager - Commercial and Asset Management, and is responsible for planning, developing and implementing Centurion’s marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities.

 

Duties

  • Strategic development and implementation of plans and actions to draw customers into the business and improve the company’s competitive position through business growth and development
  • Development and implementation of marketing plans and budgets in line with overall strategic objectives
  • Brand management ensuring consistency and brand coherence
  • Continuous development and management of Centurions and the CFC Groups website, social media channels and other online communications
  • Develop and manage internal communications to drive employee engagement
  • Implementation of a new internal portal to support improved communication, compliance and drive efficiencies  
  • Develop an events schedule for major/key clients
  • Review and development of public relations programs and processes, media releases and crisis management
  • Management, design, production and distribution of promotional and communication  materials and merchandise
  • Assist in the selection and analysis of target markets, attracting, retaining and growing customer relationships and communicating our superior value and differentiation to customers
  • Weekly and monthly reporting on the performance of marketing activities
  • Develop and implement a sponsorship strategy that raises the profile and reputation of Centurion especially in key regional areas for the business

 

Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in PR/ Marketing/Communications/Journalism or related field
  • Experience in B2B communications
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in marketing and  communications
  • Strong problem solving and decision making skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate others
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and persuasively
