State Sales Manager

This highly successful organisation is renowned for providing quality and affordable indoor and outdoor products for the home. We are after a State Sales Manager to champion our Brisbane team, to complement our values and help drive Victory to greater heights. Ideally from the home improvement sector the key criteria for success is to support Décor Consultants, accelerate their potential, improve lead conversion and exceed growth targets.

Experience with an independent commission based sales team is desirable or you will be able to demonstrate how you would promote and manage systems, processes and customer service standards within an independent entrepreneurial structure.

Reporting to the Managing Director key responsibility will include:

  • Accountable for sales across the state
  • Manage territories and service levels to meet demand
  • Mentor support and keep your sales force motivated
  • An ability to work under pressure especially at peak sales periods
  • Manage training and development
  • Constant development of your sales force, driving a common purpose, clear objectives, promoting teamwork plus recognising success and encouraging open communication.
  • Actively lead your team in continuous improvement with specific attention to accurate, timely and detailed customer service with a clear focus on conversion, referrals and brand awareness.

About you:

Central to your success, will be an ability to work within a culture that while entrepreneurial is structured, system focused and service driven.  While not being directly responsible for installation and production control, you will however, have a key role in ensuring effective outcome of jobs and overall satisfaction of customers. In other words, you will need to have a keen understanding of the end to end sales process.

Your experience in nurturing a sales force will have a clear expectation of providing support to a wider team. That said you will be extremely organised and structured while having the ability to flex as demands change.

Above all you will be a people person, having the ability to manage and be managed as part of a high performance team geared at driving sales success and the best possible customer experience.
