Swissport has recently been appointed to represent Air New Zealand in Australia and we have a range of exciting roles available!

Are you enthusiastic, organised and dedicated? As a Swissport Customer Service Agent, or as a Baggage Handling Agent, you'd play a vital role in a busy airport operation. Your focus would be on delivering a seamless, safe and efficient service to our Air New Zealand customers.

Our Customer Service Agents perform a range of duties, which may include:

  • Completing passenger customer check-in and boarding gate functions services
  • Assisting passengers customers with general enquiries, arrival and transfer services
  • Completing airport ticketing and sales
  • Special customer and VIP services
  • Customer Lounge services
  • Assisting passengers with lost, found and damaged baggage services
  • Preparing aircraft Load and Trim documents for departure
  • Delivering the highest customer service standards and provide a memorable customer experience for all passengers.

Our Baggage Handling Agents perform a range of duties, which may include:

  • Aircraft baggage loading and unloading
  • Baggage sorting and transportation
  • Cabin cleaning
  • Crew transport
  • Aircraft push back
  • Unit load devise control
  • Toilet and water services.

  • You’re physically capable of handling passenger baggage and manoeuvring wheelchairs as required
  • Your physically fit as lifting up to 32kg is required (for Baggage Handling)
  • You have a driver's license
  • You're a fluent English speaker
  • You have basic - intermediate computer skills.
  • If successful you would need to undertake security/background checks including police check, pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and dangerous goods training at your own expense prior to commencing training.
