Support Services Technician

 

Bakers Delight has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Support Services Technician to join our Information Services Team based at our Head Office in Camberwell.

Reporting to the Service Desk Manager, the successful candidate will work closely with the wider team to manage the end-to-end life cycle for corporate and bakery based incidents via phone and email.

In this challenging role, your responsibilities include:

  • Providing seamless technical support to all customers ensuring regular contact and updates
  • Creating and maintaining Support Services documentation via our online knowledge base
  • Perform maintenance and regular testing on the Bakers Delight Information Systems
  • Assist in implementing or testing changes

What are we looking for?

  • A relevant qualification in Information Technology (desired)
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role
  • Technical experience in diagnosing and resolving hardware/software issues
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), problem solving and conflict management skills
  • An understanding of the incident and problem management life cycle would be an advantage
