About the Role

The GE Healthcare Services business is growing and expanding, and we are seeking a talented individual to join our ANZ Services Leadership team in this exciting and strategic role.

They key focus for this role is to drive a coherent service strategy across the A&NZ business for Ultrasound & Life Care Solutions including modalities of Anesthesia, Respiratory Care, Patient Monitoring, Maternal Infant Care, and Diagnostic Cardiology.

You will be responsible for optimising the use of resources to drive integrated service delivery and customer support, as well as provide operational and technical input for the Commercial Service strategies within the various Segments and Modalities.

Heavily customer focussed, our business is evolving and the technology component in Clinical Care Solutions is rapidly improving. We work with digital technology that saves lives daily (e.g. in anesthesia, perioperative, ICU, neonatal, patient monitoring, ultrasound, emergency departments etc.)

From a leadership perspective, you will have approximately 10 direct reports, and be required to manage a team of 60-70 employees. This is a true people leadership role of a big and culturally & gender diverse team who are passionate about what they do.

This role is responsible for Australia & NZ, (and also minimally Fiji and PNG). You can expect to travel the East Coast of Australia quarterly, and WA, SA and NZ 2-3 times per year.

We will consider someone based out of either Sydney or Melbourne.

About You

You have managed big teams and senior people and are a true people leader with strong commercial and change management experience.

Perhaps you have come from a Healthcare, Digital or IT background and can bring lean or six sigma capability, and experience in a "critical" environment, i.e a business where there is a critical component and urgency of response.

You have a great communication style and would be described as a"transformational leader" - someone with big ideas who can shift the needle with endurance and stamina.

Overall, you will be degree qualified with at least 10 years experience of Technical, Commercial or Operational Leadership as well as experience leading multi-functional teams in a broad geographic area.

If you are passionate about working for an organization that imagines things others don’t, builds things others can’t, and delivers outcomes that make the world better, we would love to hear from you.

Please note that to be considered you must have working rights for Australia, and be prepared to undergo a background check which includes a police check.
