Parable Productions was initially established to produce the successful What’s Up Downunder TV program that appears Nationally on Network Ten and on ONE HD in Australia & New Zealand. With over 300 episodes under our belt, a second TV Show and the development of new and exciting media platforms in: Digital, Web, Social Media & Print Parable Productions is growing and we're looking for a junior front end web developer to join our team, commencing in January!
Parable Productions has seen rapid growth and now services a wide range of clients across digital marketing, production, website development and business development.
Your role is within a fun and dynamic, hard working team. This position is a full-time role with the potential to grow into a full time position. This role is perfectly suited to a recent graduate looking at entering the workforce and developing their skills as a front-end web developer and designer.
We are rapidly growing our online presence and will need a full-time front end developer to assist in creating and maintaining our web presence.
The applicant should be suitable develop WordPress based themes. Must be able to integrate with plugins and have an understanding of basic plugin development. The ideal applicant would be familiar with CPanel, website hosting environments and be able to work semi-automatously within a well mentored environment.

Skills required to be successful:
- Graphic design skills
- Proficient in HTML, CSS and PHP
- Understanding of WordPress
- Understanding of Google Business applications (G Suite, Analytics, DoubleClick)
- Good understanding of design fundamentals and website layout
- Experience with Adobe Creative suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver)
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office (Word)
- A good understanding of Mac operating system
- Have a strong attention to detail
