Fleet Manager - Turboprops

Airnorth, part of the Bristow group is now the major aviation operator in Northern Australia. The company operates over 300 scheduled RPT and charter departures weekly, to over 20 destinations in Australia and abroad. In addition to scheduled departures, Airnorth operates contract and ad-hoc charter services for a wide variety of companies undertaking mining, defence and government activity

Reporting to the General Manager Flight Operations, the position is responsible for leading and engaging the Embraer E120 & Metro 23 pilot teams, managing the technical and administrative aspects of these fleets, and supporting safe, compliant and efficient line operations at all times.

This role plays an important part in setting the culture, professionalism and standards of the turboprop fleets.

·         Demonstrated capability in a leadership or people management role;

·         Effective project management, time management and organisation skills;

·         Ability to work unsupervised, as well as in a team environment, with a ‘can do’ attitude;

·         Well-developed written and oral communication skills;

·         Ability to multi-task and prioritise;

·         Proficiency in MS Office suite;

·         High attention to detail, timelines and deliverables;

·         Australian ATPL, Current Instrument Proficiency Check and a valid Class 1 Medical;

·         Relevant experience in multi-crew turboprop/jet aircraft. A current or previous type rating and operational experience on E120 and/or M23 aircraft is highly desirable; and

·         Ability to be checked to line as an Airnorth E120 and/or M23 Captain.
