avt is the leading distributor of enablement technology, data analytics platforms, audio-visual technology, IPTV and Pro-Audio in Australia, New Zealand and Asia. The role

avt has experienced high growth these past few years and 2019 doesn’t look to be any different! Therefore, we are thrilled to announce we are on the hunt for our next sales super star to join the avt family.  Reporting to our Head of Sales, this role is a newly created position that requires an experienced business development professional within the Enterprise space to manage avt’s position in the market as a leading enterprise solution.  This role is all about shaping End User platform preference with a view to providing our channel partners with qualified opportunities they can add genuine value to.

You will need to be sharp in the mind and talented at managing the sales process from initial appointment/need creation to closure. This in an individual contributor role that will require you to be articulate, presentable and credible with the ability to deliver clear and compelling propositions to C-level and senior management contacts in global organisations. It will be expected you can coordinate available resources to create effective and compelling proposals and presentations.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated sales achievement and experience in selling technology solutions (HW/SW) to enterprise clients
  • Previous experience managing a personal sales budget of $2M+ revenue per annum.
  • Tertiary qualification in a business-related discipline (exceptions to this may be possible through demonstration of significant and consistent personal achievement in related business experience)
  • Strong commercial and professional experience in cost management, strategy and communication
  • Demonstrable experience in the development, implementation and monitoring of the go to market strategy
  • Advanced presentation, analytical and written communication skills
  • A tertiary degree/formal sales training is an advantage as is a working knowledge of IT fundamentals
  • Strong capability to identify, build and manage personal pipeline to ensure consistent delivery of sales and all performance targets set are achieved
  • Experience keeping appropriate records of all pipeline and activity in a CRM
