Brand Portfolio Lead

avt is the leading distributor of enablement technology, data analytics platforms, audio-visual technology, IPTV and Pro-Audio in Australia, New Zealand and Asia. The cutting-edge technology solutions are used at the Sydney Opera House, in many of the boardrooms of Fortune 500 companies, in every state convention centre, and in 30 of the 40 Australian universities. The role

As the Brand Portfolio Lead, you will take a lead role in developing and executing the go to market strategy for our brands (hardware / software) that are in the early stages of development.

Largely you will be responsible for working closely with the Head of Sales to support our Sales team and add value to our client engagements, both end users and channel partners to provide support for operational and project delivery outcomes.

Reporting to our Strategic Marketing Manager this role is a newly created position that requires an experienced Product Manager within the IT space to define the value proposition of the brands and identify key target markets.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in identifying industry trends and developing solutions
  • Strong understanding of pricing and promotions ie) implementing channel incentive promotions along with training to drive adoption
  • Experience owning a brand number (target)
  • Experience creating content for PR opportunities, including interviews with PCL’s, case studies, content from manufacturer
  • Demonstrable experience in owning a digital presence of a suite of products/brands including, social media campaigns and EDM’s.
  • Proven success in identifying the best distribution channel for brands in the IT space
  • A passion for data and analytics to determine the health status of avt’s brands
  • Experience creating pricing models and collateral for channel partners
  • Proven success being a brand ambassador and main contact for a manufacturer
  • Strong ability to lead change and champion outcomes whilst working within a team
  •  Strong ability to implement and strategise long term vision with key stakeholders

Key skills and experiences

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a customer-centric product environment, preferably delivered in an Agile methodology.
  • Extensive digital experience across multiple product channels
  • A sound knowledge of the Information Technology field
