Chef de Partie

Innocent Bystander was born of the Yarra Valley, where wine is our heart and soul.  Although we recently joined a larger innovative family of wine brands, we are not your sniff-and-spit cellar door - we want people to have fun by accompanying our great wines with great food experiences.  If you want to be part of delivering this amazing experience while building our reputation as a go-to place for food, we want to speak with you!  

 

Opportunity Snapshot

 

Your major responsibilities will be to prepare, cook and deliver Pizzas, Paella, Charcuterie and other Southern European foods under the direction of our (awesome) Head Chef.

 

  • Work for one of the most exciting Australian wine brands and be part of a great team of culinary professionals
  • Work with a consistent approach to quality so you know when you've kicked a goal
  • Be supported by a close knit team of highly engaged kitchen and floor staff
  • Work life balance - 2 days off in a row with a third mid-week

     

    Who Are You

  • You have experience in creating great food (and probably love great wine too).
  • You're familiar with working in a regional area and understand the importance of catering to locals and visitors alike.
  • Hopefully you already know and love the Innocent Bystander brand and have existing knowledge of the Yarra Valley and its produce.
  • You are able to work on weekends & public holidays and have flexibility to work a variety of shifts across a 7 day roster.
