National Education Project Officer

At the Australian Institute of Architects we are a committed membership services national body representing almost 11,000 architects across Australia. We offer a wide range of high quality, member-focused services, supporting architects to remain at the cutting edge of their profession. We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a National Education Project Officer to join our team.

Role overview:

The National Education Project Officer is an integral part of the Education team based at our Sydney office in Potts Point. This role works closely with the National Manager and is responsible for providing support in the delivery of Education to Institute members and the broader architectural community.

Ideal candidate:

We are looking for someone that has a passion for people and education as well as strong administration and organisational skills. Ideally you will have a background in educational institutions or membership organisations. We are looking for someone with a positive and friendly attitude and an interest in Architecture and Design.

Ideal skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in an administration or coordination role within either education or membership services
  • Strong administration experience
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Background in Architecture or design would be highly regarded but is not essential

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Maintaining education records nationally
  • Providing admin support to the National Education Manager
  • Coordinating improvement projects for the delivery CPD
  • Liaising with partners and sponsors
  • Providing support to the Education committee
  • General admin support including booking travel, meeting minutes and invoicing
