We are now after the next generation of friendly, passionate and enthusiastic Lifeguards to join our team in this fun and rewarding role within our Lakeside Leisure centre in ACT. In addition to the satisfaction of protecting our patrons around the water, we offer:

About your new role

Pool Lifeguards at the Y take on a much greater responsibility than supervising water space. As well as identifying potential risk factors and taking steps to reduce those risks, lifeguards act as positive role models in an effort to build strong, safe and fun environment within our facilities.

All our team have the following qualities in common:

  • Enthusiasm
  • Love of the water

To be successful in this role, you will have

  • Current CPR
  • Current First Aid
  • Pool Lifeguard License
