Boutique Pet Retreat is an established boarding facility for dogs. With 12 years in the industry, we offer a high end pet care service to Sydney and it's surrounds. There is now an exciting opportunity to be a part of the next growth chapter. A full time position is being offered to the candidate who shows not only a passion for our four legged friends, but who is also is capable of liaising with our important clients. You'll use your strong communication skills and proven customer service experience to form relationships with our partnering Vet Clinics. We are located in North Richmond NSW where you'll be working in a rural setting. But you'll mostly start and finish your day on Sydney's lower North Shore. An understanding of animal husbandry and behavior is essential as reporting on health and behavior is required. This is a physically demanding and hands on role, so don't be afraid to get them dirty! Being able to follow direction with the ability to work independently is essential. A sound emotional maturity plus initiative and motivation will see you succeed in this role. The successful candidate will have the potential for future career development.
POSITION: Full Time Animal Attendant
REQUIRED: Minimum 2 years experience in animal handling AND/ OR Vet nursing certificate AND/ OR dog training qualifications, ability to drive a manual car
ROLE: The role will involve general day to day handling of animals. Cleaning and maintenance of their enviroment. Transfering to and from Vet Clinics. Promoting and educating the business to the clinic teams and relevant local businesses. Sourcing new business. Daily reporting of all residing dogs
SALARY: Above award wage is being offered + car + phone + bonuses
TRIAL PERIOD: 3 Months
