THE OPPORTUNITY

We require a Case Management Specialist with an interest in Mental Health as you will be managing a number of specialised claims.  You will be responsible for customer service and support to all stakeholders to provide proactive, tailored, timely and effective management of specialised claims.

ABOUT YOU

  • You are passionate about helping others and providing a high level of customer service
  • Have a tailored and empathetic delivery approach
  • You are a problem solver with the ability to make decisions based on an authorisation framework
  • Your approach is hands on and proactive in seeking process improvement
  • Have a background or interest in psychology, social work, mental health services
  • Must possess fantastic time management skills and can work in a fast paced, high pressured environment

 YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage in employer claims reviews where requested and maintain regular contact with the employer
  • Facilitation of appropriate injury management, including medical, treatment and rehabilitation requirements  
  • Independently manage a portfolio of claims
  • Preparation for and undertaking of work capacity assessments
  • Manage the closure process for cases
  • Coordinate all services and support needed for crisis management
