Insurance Sales Support Officer Mackay & Pioneer Valley

Elders Insurance, operating for over one hundred years, is one of Australia’s largest regional and rural insurance services and operates an agency network distributing general insurance products to regional and rural clients.

Michelle Cross is the Elders Insurance agent in Mackay & The Pioneer Valley, where we have a vacancy for Insurance Sales Support Officers.

As an employee of Elders Insurance Mackay & The Pioneer Valley, your major duties will include:

  • processing insurance quotations, new business, renewals etc;
  • office administration, telephone enquiries and credit control.

To be successful in this role you must be able to display the following skills:

  • a knowledge of general insurance
  • computer literacy;
  • well developed communication skills.

Ideally you will also have Australian Financial Services Reform Act 2001 (FSRA) Insurance Tier 1 or Tier 2 accreditation. Additionally you will be able to obtain satisfactory police and ASIC clearances.

To be part of our team, you must be:

  • a customer service professional;
  • committed to teamwork and co-operation but also able to monitor your own work;
  • concerned for quality – our clients deserve the best attention to detail;
  • flexible – we have 2 local offices so it is important you are able to work at either.
