We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Records Officer to provide day to day assistance and performs tasks in the management of Council’s Information Management program and computer systems. Attention to detail and the ability to work within a team environment are key attributes to perform this role successfully.
Position Number: 100313
Position Hours: Part-Time: 20 hours per week
The Person: To be successful in this position you will have significant experience within a records management team, have the proven ability to work as a part of a team and have exceptional accuracy in data entry. You will be a key contributor to the Records and Information Management teams and liaise with internal and external stakeholders using your well developed communication skills.
The successful candidate will have significant experience in the use of electronic record systems and Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet Explorer. You will also have sound knowledge of sentencing, retention and disposal procedures or the ability to acquire that knowledge.
Qualifications: A Diploma qualification in a related field or demonstrated experience in a similar role with a minimum of 2 years.
Salary: Schedule A, Salary Point 4: $53,964.69 - $59,203.63 (pro-rata) in accordance with Glenorchy City Council’s Enterprise Agreement 2016.
