Can you deliver?

 

  • To assist the Operations & Customer Service Delivery managers, leaders and staff by providing the necessary administrative support, including:
  • Preparation of meeting documentation including agendas, minutes and powerpoint presentations and other meeting arrangements including, calendar bookings, room set up and catering.
  • Assisting travel management
  • Carrying out office activities such as; sorting mail, handling petty cash, filing, photocopying, scanning and maintaining an inventory of stationary supplies for the office and order items;
  • Documentation of processes and procedures;
  • Preparation of documents, presentations and data bases;
  • Production of regular monthly reports and ad hoc reporting as required; and
  • Other administrative tasks as assigned by the Senior Business Support Officer and Leader
  • Use multiple systems to extract information and input data
  • Assist the Senior Business Support Officer with minor project activities and event coordination as required

Support, review and develop processes and procedures with a focus on continual improvement to enhance the performance of the business support team.

 

What does success look like?

 

  • Certificate IV in Business Administration and/or equivalent workplace experience
  • Demonstrated competence in the use of relevant Software applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel) and the ability to proficiently use other organisational systems.
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritise a broad range of activities and respond to specific issues within a short period of time to meet stakeholder expectations
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong customer service skills and a positive and proactive mindset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to cope with a diverse range of contacts
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and to show initiative
  • Proven ability to work in a busy office environment as part of a team
