An opportunity exists for an exceptional permanent part-time HR Business Partner working 20 - 25 hours a week (flexible for the right candidate). We are a dynamic multinational Technology Media & Events company based in North Sydney, established in Australia for over 40 years.

This newly created role  will report to the CFO, working closely with both CFO and Global HR Head. The position presents a great opportunity for the right person to make the role their own and requires excellent communication, people and performance skills.

 Key responsibilities:

Include but are not limited to the following:

  • Be the first point of contact for all HR inquiries
  • Drive business cohesiveness and employee engagement
  • Updating and implementing HR policies and procedures
  • End to end recruitment including assisting in advertising, screening of resumes, scheduling and conducting interviews and coordinating pre-employment checks
  • Assist in the on-boarding and induction of new team members
  • Align all current employment contracts
  • Help set up and maintain bonus and commission structures for employees
  • Assist setting up and manage employee performance KPIs
  • General HR Administration duties such as drafting contracts and managing confidential files

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Experience in working through organisational change
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build rapport and confidence
  • Degree qualified in relevant discipline (e.g. HR / Commerce)
  • A quick learner, with excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise work and build relationships with stakeholders
  • A drive to improve process and systems
  • Highly professional, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
