Spring Lake Hotel  is part of Spirit Hotels.  We operate over 70 hotels in Queensland with small portfolios in Western Australia, South Australia and New South Wales.  Our pubs feature some of the best bars, restaurants, fast casual dining options and gaming rooms across Australia and our core purpose is to operate 'Great Pubs Locals Love'.

Located in the booming suburb of Springfield, Spring Lake Hotel is placed beside a picturesque lake and natural bushland. The hotel features a spacious restaurant, function center, modern gaming room and bustling public bar thick with colourful local characters. 

We are on the lookout for a team player who is willing to work with both the front of house and kitchen team to deliver top quality food in our hotel. We challenge traditional pecking orders as we seek chefs who inspire, collaborate and contribute to an open, honest and comfortable workplace. 

What do I need to have?

  • Trade qualified:  Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
  • Passionate about food and creating exceptional dining experiences.
  • A part of our tight knit team in an exciting, fast moving environment.
  • Flexible as you will work rostered shifts including nights and weekends.
  • Ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, compliance and cash handling procedures.
