Junior Account Broker


A Insurance ASX listed company is currently recruiting an Assistant Account Broker.

As an Assistant Account Broker you will oversee the effective, efficient, compliant and profitable management of their portfolio of business.

Key responsibilities :

• Customer Service, ensuring each interaction with clients is a positive experience, working towards a "Trusted Adviser" relationship
• Process Improvement, actively seek opportunities to enable our processes to be efficient & effective
• Maintaining Client & Insurer relationships
• Policy Renewal management liaising with key stakeholders within the process
• Claims management liaising with all key stakeholders where required
• Processing of new business, renewals and policy maintenance
• Preparation of quotations and reports
• Development of future opportunities from interaction with existing clients, in addition, actively seeking opportunities for new business

Competencies :
• Experience within an office/customer service role
• Knowledge in General Insurance (desirable)
• Basic understanding of computers and statistics
•Results driven
• “Can-Do” attitude
•Strong relationship development
• Attention to detail
• Team player
