  • Diverse and Challenging Role
  • Comprehensive Training and Development
  • Work across Technology and/or Project Services roles

About Us

Rowben Consulting was established in Melbourne in 2005 and provides Technology, Digital and Insurance & Superannuation recruitment for leading organisations in Melbourne. Guided by our core values of Integrity | Quality | Commitment we value our team and provide a cohesive and training based environment for those wanting to develop a career in recruitment.

In July 2018 Rowben Consulting was purchased by the large Professional Services and Recruitment organisation The Finite Group - which has enabled us to have access to a larger business and resources.

As part of our continued growth we have several opportunities for Sourcing Specialists to join our team. These are excellent roles for those wanting to move into the recruitment industry. As a Sourcing Specialist you will be provided with a comprehensive training and development program to provide you with on the job and theory based training on the recruitment industry, and specifically candidate sourcing.

To be considered for these roles you must have a strong commitment to your career and the desire to work hard and reap the rewards. These roles will work closely with established Account Manger’s who have years of experience within the recruitment industry.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively sourcing candidates by a variety of means including advertising, database mining, networking and head-hunting
  • Phone screening of passive and active candidates
  • Face to face candidate interviews
  • Developing lists to incorporate talented candidates in specific technologies or industries
  • Building your personal networks and using them to develop expert knowledge of the market you work in
  • Attending industry meet ups to learn and meet candidates in the market

Profile

Degree qualified in Business Studies, Marketing, Technology or professional experience in Sales or the IT industry. If you have a business-to-business sales background this would be beneficial, but not essential. What is highly important is that you exude and demonstrate the following behaviours and qualities in your day-to-day and professional life:

  • Credibility - honest and transparent with the ability to earn the trust and loyalty of those that deal with you
  • Diligence - the ability and commitment to deliver to the expectations that you have created
  • Resilience - the ability to deal with explicit and implicit rejection subjectively
  • Accountability - the ability to own your part in any failures and constantly seek to improve
  • Personal Organisation - the ability to manage your own time and desk and to prioritise your tasks effectively
  • Rapport Building - the confidence to approach new people and the ability to quickly build relationships
  • A Strong Work Ethic - the will to work hard, make difficult phone calls and ask difficult questions, often without immediate reward
  • Sales Instincts - the ability and desire to qualify, influence and create urgency

Why work for Rowben Consulting:

  • Work with Account Managers who have extensive recruitment experience
  • A training culture to ensure you develop in the best way
  • Industry leading commission and bonus structure
  • Quarterly company lunches and events
  • CBD location with modern offices and all the amenities you could need!
