Maintenance Engineer (Spare Parts)

The Role:
As the maintenance support engineer you will be responsible for delivering the spare parts component of our clients ongoing maintenance improvement projects by managing and supporting a low cost, offshore support centre delivering asset Bill of Materials (BOMs).

This will be a Brisbane based role with a secured contract for at least 2 years before being subject to renewal consideration. There may be occasional visits to site required which will not exceed 1 week.

You will be responsible for:
Developing the spares and repairs strategy which will govern minimum standards for assets and reorder points.
Ensuring compliance with project plans for the delivery of asset BOMs
Assisting in the identification and sourcing of documentation, quotations etc.
Acting as the responsible job person for all changes that arise as an output of this project, including the management of obsolete items.
Perform and manage site walk downs required to identify equipment due to missing documentation.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Engineering Degree
Working knowledge of all oil and gas related engineering disciplines
Experience with CMMS, preferably maximo
Experience of spare and repair strategies for common process equipment (valves, instruments, pumps etc.)
