The Role 

An exciting opportunity exists for a highly capable and organised Administrative Assistant to join Epworth HealthCare to provide dedicated administrative support to the Freemasons & Richmond Business Development Team.

As an experienced Administrative professional, you will provide a customer-centric administrative service, proactively anticipate and manage the needs and requirements of the Business Development team across two sites.

Based largely in the Richmond Business Development office, this role will work across both the Richmond and Freemasons sites as required. You will be database savvy with the ability to run and adjust technical spreadsheets, have a high level of customer focus with a can do approach and problem solving capability.

In addition to providing administrative support to the Strategic Services & Business Development Manager, routine tasks such as maintaining information databases and specialist profiles, coordinating car parking for doctors, coordinating interviews for new doctors and organising doctor profiles for the Epworth website will be required.

You will be self-motivated, with a positive attitude to deal with a variety of stakeholders in person and on the phone, including the Business Development Team - Freemasons and Richmond Divisions, GP Coordinators, Medical Specialists and Practice Managers/Receptionists, General Practitioners, Brand and Marketing team, Richmond and Freemasons VMOs.

This role will showcase your exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with people across the spectrum to achieve targeted outcomes.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in the role, you will demonstrate:

  • A positive ‘can do’ and friendly approach
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent computer and database skills
  • A high level of initiative and self-direction
  • Ability to plan, work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • A high level of commitment and flexibility
  • Previous experience in healthcare, administration and knowledge of medical/clinical terminology
