We are a volunteer, not for profit community organisation, promoting healthy ageing by sharing educational,
creative, and leisure activities in a very friendly and safe environment. We have over 2,000 members and conduct
over 120 different classes from Caloundra in the South to Coolum in the North and from the Coast to the
The Role
We are seeking a capable and enthusiastic person to undertake a range of administrative tasks that support the
efficient management of the organisation and the smooth delivery of its services. This is the only paid position in
the organisation and it is vital the successful candidate has the capability to work effectively and harmoniously
alongside volunteers.
The position involves 3 hours per day, Monday to Friday during School term periods. There may be some hours
outside of School terms. Employment can be either as a contractor or as a direct employee, depending on the
successful applicant’s preference. Remuneration and conditions for direct employment will be in accordance
with the Clerks - Private Sector Award 2010. Position duties and skills are consistent with Level 2 – Administration
Officer, as described in the Award. Hourly rate for Level 2 in year 1 is $22.04.
