An opportunity exists for a passionate and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Educator with sound clinical knowledge and recent experience in nurse education.  The role will be based with the Learning and Teaching Practice Capability Team in the Acute Medicine Program at Box Hill Hospital.   

You will be working within the Learning and Teaching Team to provide evidence based education and support to learners at all levels; to enable and empower development of knowledge and practice in order to mitigate risk and provide the best care to our patients.  There will be opportunities to develop individual leadership and organisational skills.

 

To be successful in this role you should possess:

  • Recent experience in nurse education
  • Excellent clinical skills and nursing experience in a surgical role
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • An ability to work autonomously and as part of a diverse team
  • A strong commitment to high quality care
  • Proficient computer literacy
  • Post graduate qualifications (desirable)
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (desirable)
