Project Manager - Restructure


An opportunity exists for an experienced Project Manager to manage the organisational re-design and re-structure of two corporate teams including the scheduling, change management and improvements ensuring a smooth transition to project completion.

To be successful, you’ll manage the delivery of the project within the agreed time.  You will bring a strong understanding of project management tools and methodologies, with experience of applying them in practice. Crucially, you’ll also be confident when it comes to developing stakeholder relationships and managing project risks.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Planning and implementing the restructure - this will include setting goals and objectives, defining roles and producing schedules and timelines for tasks, in accordance with the needs of the business.
  • Producing plans that achieve the goals and objectives of the project and are aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Provide input into the line of business people strategy, implement and embed across business area of responsibility, along with business unit and strategic HR initiatives for consistency of approach.
  • Act as champion in communicating and embedding the restructure initiatives across each business unit.
  • Plan, manage and seamlessly execute people transitions whilst minimising associated risk.
  • Collecting and managing the project team - which includes coordinating the project team to keep them on track and keeping the project on schedule.
  • Monitoring and reporting on project progress, providing effective reporting.
  • Reporting to stakeholders on progress as well as problems and solutions
  • Implementing and managing change where necessary to meet project outputs
Suitable candidates will have at least 4+ years end to end project management experience.  You will have strong analytical skills, together with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels to stakeholders showing tact, diplomacy & composure particularly when under pressure.  Some exposure to managing re-structures or organisational redesign would be highly regarded.
