Manager, Cyber Security Governance

The Manager, Cyber Security Governance is responsible for the creation, implementation and management of a Security Governance framework across the organisation. The role is responsible for ensuring that Cyber Security risks are identified, assessed and managed accordingly and, in addition, for promoting a cyber aware culture.
  
The Cyber Security Governance team is responsible for defining, implementing and managing the cyber security governance framework in line with the organisations risk tolerance.
  
Responsibilities of this rule will include:
  • Manage the operational delivery and maintenance of the cyber security governance framework, including internal cyber security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Identify, evaluate and report on cyber security risks, practices and projects to the CISO, and provide subject matter expertise on cyber security risk management standards and best practices.
  • Recruitment, development and management of a team of high performing Security professionals.
  • Manage the operational delivery and maintenance of the enterprise security architecture, in partnership with ICT stakeholders and external service providers.
Experience required will include:
  • Extensive experience in Cyber Security risk management roles focused on the development and implementation of governance frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Enterprise Security Architecture teams or initiatives
  • Expert knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices
  • Outstanding leadership skills, with the ability to provide thought leadership in information security and work as part of a team in a complex organisational structure and IT environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively manage key stakeholders, build robust relationships and work with a diverse set of business and technology people across the organisation and third-party vendors
