Compliance and Administration Coordinator - RTO

Civil Contractors Federation Queensland is seeking an experienced RTO Compliance Coordinator to join the training services division and Registered Training Organisation; Civil Train (RTO5708).  Based at Eight Mile Plains, this position is a key appointment supporting Civil Contracts Federation’s quality and compliance agenda and will suit a passionate VET advocate with significant compliance and RTO administration experience.

Reporting to and supported by the General Manager – Training Services, you have responsibility for;

  • Managing a small and dedicated RTO administration team
  • Coordinating data submissions and reporting in line with regulatory and contractual obligations
  • Maintaining and communicating up-to-date knowledge on regulatory and contractual requirements
  • Monitoring RTO compliance
  • Risk management and exception reporting; including the maintenance to registers
  • Coordinating moderation and validation of training resources and providing feedback to resource developers
  • Maintaining trainer matrices and currency registers
  • Facilitating internal audits including spot student assessment audits
  • Managing the scope of registration and submitting information and notifications to ASQA
  • Maintaining or developing policies and procedures to support the RTO administration and compliance function.

 

The following attributes will contribute to your success in this position;

  • Current experience managing the compliance and administration function for an RTO
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of the Standards for RTOs 2015
  • Experience managing a Queensland User Choice contract
  • Experience managing Construction Skills Queensland training contracts
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Confidence to work with key stakeholders with competing priorities
  • Team leader or management experience of a small team
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • TAE40116 or equivalent
  • A commitment to quality training and compliance

In addition, familiarity with Axcelerate, ASQANET, DetConnect, TMR and CSQ Portals would be advantageous.  It is expected that the successful candidate will have a high working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
