Dev Ops Engineer

We are now seeking a DevOps Engineer to be part of an energetic, leading and innovative team, to deliver technological and business solutions to support the product releases and systems and platforms.

CoreLogic RP Data is the industry's leading provider of property information, analytics and risk management services in Australia and New Zealand, serving thousands of real estate agents, developers, investors and multi-national corporations and financial institutions, including the Reserve Bank of Australia.

This position is a technical role within a highly capable team which support the product releases and the systems & platforms for CoreLogic Asia’s internal and external platforms. You will be responsible for both Project and “Business as Usual” (BAU), working with relevant development, product and project teams to implement new systems and capabilities both on internal and external cloud based platforms. This role will have a heavy DevOps focus working on the orchestration and automation of releases throughout the organisation.

Your main responsibilities

  • Heavy focus on automation and orchestration activities within both internal and external cloud environments.
  • Key contact for cloud integration work across CoreLogic Asia sites.
  • Ensure systems are monitored and tuned to achieve optimum performance levels in standalone and multi-site high availability environments.
  • Analysis of cloud based configurations to ensure true HA / DR capabilities.
  • Manage disaster recovery planning, implementation and testing.
  • Provide technical analysis of problems / requests.
  • Participate in the after hour’s roster for the on call support for critical issues.

 

Your experience and background

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience working in an enterprise environment planning, implementing and managing / maintaining technology and associated systems running in a multi-tier environment.
  • Incident management experience.
  • Exceptional communications skill both verbal and written.
  • Strong understanding of platform functionality as well as monitoring internal and external cloud based system services and processes.
  • Strong skill set in the following:
    -  Ansible, Puppet
    -  Cloud Providers (AWS preferred)
    -  Pivotal - Cloud Foundry deployments
    -  Scripting with Ruby, PHP, BASH and Python
    -  Redhat, Centos, Windows Server
    -  Postgres, MySQL, MSSQL
    -  Java, Tomcat, Apache, Nginx
    -  Kafka, Elastic Search
    -  ITIL methodologies
