Club Attendant with Supervisor higher duties

About the business

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Club Attendant to step up when required into Club Supervisory duties. This position will report to the Club General Manager and will support and work across all areas of the club.

The successful candidate will be an individual who is able to project a positive attitude and energy, be highly organised, with the ability to balance and manage both operational demands of running a club as well as people, including managing teams of staff to deliver a high touch customer service experience to the Berkeley patrons.

Responsibilities when stepping up:

  • Supervision and co-ordination of staff in the club, including training and mentoring
  • Monitoring compliance with all legislative requirements and Club policies
  • Ensuring high customer service standards are maintained at an optimum level
  • Manage the conduct and performance of staff
  • Act as a key advisor to the senior management team
  • Provide the Club with accurate and timely information when and where required with respect to all aspects of the Clubs day-to-day operations
  • Ensure that rostered staff are on duty at all times
  • Ability to enthusiastically motivate a team

Skills and Experience:

  • Thriving on ensuring as a club we deliver excellence in service is a must
  • Confident, warm and professional in your approach to the team members you lead and our customers
  • In depth knowledge and experience in bar, gaming, tab & keno
  • Experience in opening and closing club procedures
  • Confidence in conflict resolution and handling RSA/RCG matters
  • Strong computer and report writing skills
  • The successful candidate will be able to work a rotating roster including days, nights and weekends
