About the Role

This full-time position (based in Sydney) is an exciting opportunity to progress your career in the meat industry. The successful candidate will be challenged to grow sales volume and profitability across our entire product range (beef, pork and lamb). 

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a strong and profitable customer base through the provision of excellent service to new and existing customers to meet set sales targets
  • Manage carton sales of beef, pork and lamb with key butchers and small-to-medium food service wholesalers
  • Undertake daily customer calls, process orders, communicate stock requirements and work with the operations team to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Maintain customer database, recording requirements, future needs and existing supply chains

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in meat sales (preferred)
  • Sound understanding of meat cuts and boning specifications (preferred)
  • Proven track record of winning new business and building strong customer relationships
  • Strong communication skills and an excellent phone manner
  • Determination to succeed, resilience and a willingness to accept new challenges
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Current driver's licence

Ideally this role would suit an experienced meat sales professional however, graduates are encouraged to apply.
