The opportunity

With the strong growth and expansion of Tract, we are searching for a Principal Town Planner to join our Senior Management team, and lead our Sydney Town Planning team into their next phase of development. We require a dynamic senior Town Planner with local experience to step into this pivotal role, based in our North Sydney office, and manage and participate in a diverse range of development and strategic policy projects across NSW.

This role will suit a confident, personable, experienced self-starter. We want someone who is passionate about good planning solutions, with a commercial appreciation, who is committed to the growth of the planning discipline.

Your skills

As a Team Lead, Town Planner, you will have:

  • Proven experience in the New South Wales planning industry;
  • Experience at a similar level or looking to take the next step;
  • Demonstrated capabilities in managing statutory and strategic planning projects of various complexities;
  • Experience in managing and mentoring a team;
  • The ability to facilitate new project opportunities through existing networks and/or strong Business Development acumen.
