A fantastic opportunity due to an internal transfer has arisen for a results driven and highly motivated Workshop Manager for an immediate start to run our busy Workshop team located in Wingfield, SA.
This position will report to the General Manager- Australia and will be responsible for:
- Lead a team of personnel and direct the day to day activities of the operations in a production environment through the management of our busy workshop based team
- The management of process valve repair workshop - Oil and Gas Industry
- Ensure team adherence to company policies and procedures
- Effectively implement business and operational plans
- Effectively liaise and coordinate with staff across a diverse range of activities
- Comply with all client reporting requirements (as applicable)
- Training, Coaching and Mentoring of your team
- Fault find and resolve problems within your areas of competence.
- Carrying out business development and liaising with customers
- Regular reporting to senior management on production and financial performance
Ideally you will have the following:
- Valve and actuator knowledge and experience preferable
- Previous Managerial experience in a production environment preferably in a similar industry
- Previous history working in or with the Mining and Oil and Gas industries
- Skill in providing clear and concise feedback
- Skill in organisation and time management
- Good practical use of Microsoft Office package
- Experience with Microsoft Navision preferred but not essential
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Trade certified in a Mechanical background (preferred but not essential)
- A Valid Drivers License
