Nuclear Medicine Technologist
I-MED Radiology Network is Australia’s largest private diagnostic imaging network offering a comprehensive range of services including CT, MRI, DSA, Ultrasound, general x-ray, and a commitment to exceptional standards of patient care.
We are currently recruiting a talented Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join us on a permanent part time basis in our Port Macquarie Base Hospital clinic. The role is due to commence in April 2019.
Key Accountabilities include:
- Performing high quality Nuclear Medicine imaging examinations and employing correct techniques to the accepted industry standards or above
- Performing all other aspects of Nuclear Medicine including radiopharmaceutical preparation and Quality Control procedures to the highest standard
- Providing exceptional patient care and communicating effectively with patients, staff and other medical and non-medical personnel
- Employing excellent organisational and time management skills and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Full AHPRA Registration
- Patient-focused attitude towards delivering health care
- High-level personal and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively both as a sole technologist and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Strong work ethics and a commitment to the culture and values of the I-MED Network
- Ability to meet relevant NSW Health workplace requirements, including occupational Assessment, Screening & Vaccination Against Specified Infectious Diseases
