Regional HSE Advisor

Enviropacific provides specialist engineering and applied science solutions for the prevention and remediation of solid and liquid contamination.  Since 2001, we've made it our business to prevent, stop and reverse environmental damage to create safer, healthier communities. Working across Australia, we employ over 250 staff across 8 offices, and are a trusted provider to the property, infrastructure, industrial, defence and petroleum sectors. 

We are seeking a motivated, experienced and driven HSE Professional to join our QLD team. Working with the business managers and project delivery teams, you will support, mentor and engage with the business to provide positive HSE outcomes across Enviropacific's operations. The role is hands on and requires someone with the ability to quickly build relationships with various stakeholders and work across all levels of the business to get the job done.

Responsibilities include:

  • Champion the implementation of the HSE Management System within the QLD business.
  • Support the development of HSE Management Plans for projects.
  • Provide support, mentoring and coaching to project teams to ensure obligations are met.
  • Undertake audits, inspections and reviews to identify issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Engage with project teams and facilitate risk assessments, ensuring that HSE is considered at all stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Deliver internal training needs and company induction requirements.
  • Lead, facilitate and / or participate in incident investigations as required.
  • Provide support for Return to Work activities for injured workers.

About you:

You will be an experienced self-starter, able to quickly build positive relationships. The ability to manage your time efficiently, prioritise effectively and manage multiple stakeholder groups is essential.

You ideally will hold:

  • Minimum Certificate IV in Safety
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Training in Audit and Incident Investigation
  • 3-5 years experience in HSE roles within Heavy Industry, Construction or similar industries
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Working knowledge of WHS and Environmental legislation
  • Experience within environmental remediation, water treatment or petroleum industries will be highly regarded.
