Project Manager

Enviropacific provides specialist engineering and applied science solutions for the prevention and remediation of solid and liquid contamination.  Since 2001, we've made it our business to prevent, stop and reverse environmental damage to create safer, healthier communities. Working across Australia, we employ over 250 staff across 8 offices, and are a trusted provider to the property, infrastructure, industrial, defence and petroleum sectors.

We are seeking a Project Manager that is interested to undertake a 3-month assignment to manage the expansion of one of our facilities in Melbourne. This will suit an individual with a strong industrial construction background, but will also be suitable for a more generalist-focused project manager with a building construction or civil engineering background.

Although the initial project is scheduled for 3-months, there is a possibility to make it a full-time role for the right individual.

The Project Manager will be responsible for: 

  • Ensuring Company safety and environment standards are maintained
  • Managing and maintaining high levels of quality control. 
  • Managing subcontractors and suppliers. 
  • Managing project personnel to meet the project objectives.
  • Managing project forecast and budget to ensure financial success of the project. 

Selection criteria for this role:

  • A Bachelor degree in Civil or Construction Engineering.
  • Understanding and experience with local council permitting processes.
  • Contract and budget management experience. 
  • Demonstrated understanding in the development and implementation of Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality management systems.
  • Demonstrated practical on-site experience. 
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills with the ability to develop relationships with team members, clients and contractors to ensure excellence in project delivery.
  • High level organisational skills, computer literacy and excellent written / verbal communication. 
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office & Project.
