Tour & Events Specialist
My Client is a provider of a diverse range of elite International education programs to High School students across Australia. The students have the opportunity to travel overseas on an exciting and unique 2 week expedition and this position is involved in all stages of the planning and preparation process (and more!).

You will assist at an operational level with duties including:
  • Attending International Expeditions (1-2 per year) as part of the leadership team
  • Expedition travel planning including liaising with external partners and suppliers both locally and overseas to coordinate itineraries for travel, accommodation and various tour activities
  • Tailoring and creating expedition program content
  • Attending and assisting with preparation, planning and execution of various pre-expedition preparation and information events both locally (Sydney) and Interstate
  • Recruitment, coordination and training of expedition staff (Group Managers & Tour Assistants)
  • Preparing and refreshing staff training content as well as participating in training activities
  • Assisting on departure day proceedings, checking everyone in and ensuring departure runs smoothly for travellers
  • Coordinating expedition kits (t-shirts, lanyards, badges etc) working closely with the sales & marketing team
To be considered for this unique role you will have proven skills in travel and/or event management with similar responsibilities to the above. Any prior exposure to working with students / children will be highly regarded. Advanced computer skills and excellent written & verbal communication are essential.

Remuneration is dependent on experience however $65,000 + Superannuation + Bonus + Allowances could be considered as a guide.
