This is a great opportunity to learn, grow and develop your accounting skills with a well-established business in the wholesale sector. Our client is seeking an Accounts Assistant with a positive and flexible approach and a great eye for detail.  You will be reporting to the Finance Manager supporting a busy and fun team at their modern offices located on the Northern Beaches (close to major bus routes).

Your responsibilities in this varied and rewarding role will include:
  • Ownership of accounts payable process
  • Assisting with accounts receivable
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Generating sales and stock reports
  • Analysing allocated costs eg freight, duty, products etc
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • General accounting and administration duties
To be considered for this top local job your key attributes will include:
  • 1-2 years experience working within an Accounts team
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and a hands-on approach
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A positive and can do attitude
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office. 
Due to the location, residents of the North Shore and Northern Beaches are preferred.  Offices are accessible via major bus routes.

This is a full time position and the salary guide is $50,000 + Superannuation (negotiable depending on experience).  Hours are 8.30am (Mondays) & 9.00am (Tuesdays & Fridays) to 5.00pm.  Training will be provided.
