Clinical Trial Coordinator

The Role.

Working in partnership with The Lions Eye Institute, Linear is delivering one of the largest single site studies undertaken in Australia. With up to 600 participants planned for enrolment, the Malaria Study will have a significant global impact on how this disease is treated.

As a Clinical Trial Coordinator (CTC) on this unique study, you will work closely in collaboration with your colleagues and successfully deliver across all trial activities including but not limited to:

  • developing and reviewing trial documentation,
  • participant clinic screening,
  • day to day liaison and stakeholder engagement,  
  • data monitoring and control for quality purposes, and
  • managing site/sponsor visits

Another key part of your role will be to mentor and provide functional support to other members of your team.

 

Your Experience and Attributes.

To excel in your role as a CTC, you will be degree qualified and be able to demonstrate your skills, experience and success in the following areas:

  • at least a year’s experience working in a similar role and/or clinic research environment
  • Understanding of and ability to apply ICH/GCP guidelines and best practice in clinical research
  • Internal and external stakeholder engagement
  • Understanding and application of project management principles including time, quality and budget.

You thrive on working in a team and can effectively communicate with your peers and supervisors. You are driven by your desire to develop professionally in the field of clinical research and connect personally to Linear’s vision.
