The opportunity

Due to our ongoing success and growth trajectory we are expanding our Account Management team.  Reporting to our Senior Account Manager, your concentration will be on servicing our clients across Australia in the commercial & industrial sectors.  Key KPIs for the role are retention of our client base through new agreements and developing new leads and sales opportunities with our business development managers.  Our product is innovative and you will have support from experts in the energy industry.

 Key responsibilities

  • High focus on account management of existing client base
  • Identifying customer needs and develop solutions
  • Undertaking commercial and technical analysis of customer sites
  • Producing compelling proposals, presentations and speaking at events
  • Developing your own sales opportunities

Skills, experience and qualifications envisaged for success

  • Demonstrated success in an industrial or commercial  sales environment with a focus on account management
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and sell the technical concepts of energy management & embedded generation
  • Success in solution selling
  • Proven ability to exhibit a high degree of influence through negotiation
  • Advanced IT, business & analytical skills
  • High level personal time management
  • Superior presentation – ability to present to business leaders
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal)

Degree or technical qualifications in relevant discipline, previous experience in the national electricity market or experience in retail, power or generation industry would be highly regarded but not essential.

It is a requirement to have access to a vehicle for some local account management duties.  There is also interstate travel from time-to-time.
