Gym General Manager
Our client is a well-recognised leader in the Health & Fitness sector who boast several business lines and a global customer base.  Their products and services include personal training in their state-of-the-art gym facilities, health and fitness coaching and education to industry professionals. 

Due to recent and ongoing growth they are seeking a motivated and dynamic Leader to manage the effective organisation, management and growth of their Personal Training business and associated Gym services. 

Reporting to the Group General Manager your responsibilities will include:
  • Planning, Coordinating and Managing all personal training and Gym related operations to achieve corporate goals
  • Determining staff requirements and managing a team of Personal Trainers 
  • Assisting in recruitment, commercial training, performance evaluation, promotion and termination activities for Personal Trainers
  • Developing strategies to improve overall quality and productivity
  • Responding to customer and employee concerns in a timely and effective manner
  • Managing administration, logistical, HR and accounting services to support company operations where applicable
  • Identifying business opportunities with new & existing in person and online clients
  • Communicating with relevant suppliers and partners of the business
  • Assisting in budget preparation and expense management activities
  • Staying abreast of financial targets and statistics
  • Generating business, cost and employee reports
  • Maintaining regular communications with Marketing and supporting marketing strategies to maximise business growth
To be successful for this role you will be a driven and dynamic individual with previous management experience along with top organisational and communication skills.  In addition, you will have strong computer literary MS and ideally, previous experience working with an online booking system.

Salary guide $100,000 to $120,000 package depending on experience.

Currently our client is located on the North Shore however due to growth they are looking to relocate by the end of 2019 to North Sydney or the CBD.
