The role

avt is seeking a Strategic Marketing Manager to enable and develop all aspects of our Marketing team, vision and programs as we enter a new phase of growth as an industry leader in both on premise and cloud based solutions. This highly visible role will report directly to the COO while collaborating closely with all members of our Leadership Team and the existing marketing team to execute avt’s marketing vision; taking avt to the next level.

To be successful in this role you must have a strong attention to detail, be well organised and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key responsibilities

  • Enable and continually develop our existing high-performing 3-person marketing team, making additional strategic hires as needed to serve our growing business.
  • Ability to drive marketing programs and tactics that can be directly attributable to increased revenue
  • Oversee marketing, focusing on content and programs that drive brand awareness, position the company as a leader in both on premise and cloud-based technologies, generate leads and enable sales success.
  • Oversee product marketing and marketing communications functions including go-to-market strategies, market requirements, solutions packaging, customer retention/nurturing, channel marketing, messaging and positioning, events, thought leadership, social media and PR.
  • Plan, manage, and execute marketing operations and oversee demand generation activities in support of avt’s lead-to-revenue process.
  • Leverage your deep understanding of both on premise and cloud-based metrics to ensure departmental success and tight alignment to revenue, from customer acquisition to customer satisfaction.
  • Drive alignment between marketing and sales resulting in improved conversion rates through the demand overflow via contributions from both marketing sources that influence pipeline that convert to sales.
  • Ensure avt continually utilise marketing technology to leverage marketing automation, predictive prospect analysis, lead scoring, etc.
  • Design and implement the strategic marketing plan and manage the budget to align with company goals.

Key skills and experiences

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field required
  • 10+ years of experience successfully implementing and executing global marketing strategies within both an on-premise and cloud-based enterprise B2B companies.
  • 6+ years of progressive management experience, with an emphasis on team building, leadership, and engaging with global and local stakeholders.
  • Global exposure in particular ASIA
  • Strong technical background, analytic experience, and sales/customer orientation.
  • Experience building trusted relationships with executives, channel partners and end users.
