Graduate/Junior Solicitor (12 month contract)

About this role

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate/Junior Solicitor to join the team and hit the ground running. You will have the opportunity to flourish and develop to expand your skills under the guidance of the Legal Counsel.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Undertaking a variety of legal and administrative work to assist in the fulfilment of the goals and objectives of the legal department and the business.

Document Preparation and Process

  • Assisting the legal team with various documentation including but not limited to sales, new sites, renewals, leases, general contracts/agreements, marketing materials and various other legal and administrative tasks.
  • Ensuring company compliance with internal policies and relevant law.
  • Providing legal advice as and when required.
  • Ensuring documents are appropriately executed and forwarded to relevant parties.
  • Various administrative tasks as and when required.

Database Management

  • Assisting franchisee’s enquiries and Foodco personnel.
  • Updating legal reports.

Administration Tasks

  • Scanning and uploading franchise documents on Salesforce.
  • Assisting senior legal counsel and General Counsel with ad hoc tasks.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Data bases and Web based products.
  • Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

KEY ATTRIBUTES:

  • Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to multitask, organise and prioritise work.
  • Keen to develop and enhance skills/knowledge relevant to the business.

The Graduate/Junior Solicitor is required to maintain their practising certificate and ensure they comply with the mandatory continuing professional development requirements.
