Marketing & Training Administrator (12 month FT contract)

The role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Marketing & Training Administrator to join our Marketing department to empower our partners, universities and consultants with the knowledge, skills, and resources they require to support avt’s strategic vision, outcomes and priorities.

This is no ordinary marketing role and will suit someone who is looking for a role that is diverse in scope, challenging yet rewarding. Ideally you will have a strong background in administration and a flair for marketing as this role is heavily focused on supporting the marketing department with their marketing activities.

You will need high level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, a strong attention to detail and have a willingness to learn a new industry.

Your proven ability to form good working relationships with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external will see you achieve in this role.

Key responsibilities

  • General office duties, including answering phones - providing excellent customer service to clients
  • Assisting in the development and distribution of marketing and promotional material
  • Coordinating and implementing marketing activities
  • Creating and distributing EDM’s and newsletters
  • Coordinating and managing merchandise and display stock
  • Assisting with preparing for events, such as overseeing travel and accommodation arrangements for internal staff and guests
  • Coordinating and facilitating training sessions with our partners, universities and consultants

To be successful in the role you will need:

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft applications
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative and drive outcomes
  • Ability to complete activities on time and within budget
