About the opportunity

Due to staff progression and movement we have multiple exciting opportunities for full-time Customer Service Officers to join our dynamic team. 

Reporting to the Customer Service Team Leaders, these roles include a variety of functions, including providing Administration and Intake services to a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, as well as the potential to relieve on reception as required.

In the Intake function, you will deliver over the phone assessments to ascertain eligibility for services, coordinate services in line with care plans, funding and organisational guidelines, provide information to clients and refer to relevant services.

In the Administrative function, you will provide care coordination for service changes, cancellations and confirmations, follow up invoice queries and verify invoices for payment, process service requests for information to be entered onto the client database, as well as other administrative tasks as required.

About you

We are looking for people who can demonstrate:

Essential:

  • Alignment with Uniting’s values.
  • Strong customer service focus, positivity and work ethic.
  • Ability to develop rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent verbal and active listening skills.
  • Confidence and experience in using a Client Information System.
  • Experience using MS Office: Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills; and attention to detail.

Highly Desirable:

  • Certificate IV in administration, social services or office administration
  • Two years experience in customer facing and telephone enquiries from a diverse client and stakeholder base.
  • Experince using Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) software
