UX/UI Front-end Developer

The Company:

YNA is Your Nursing Agency, a leading provider of healthcare staff solutions to hospitals, facilities and individuals in the community across Australia. YNA is a national organisation with its head office proudly located here in South Australia, employing more than 3,500 staff.

The Role:

YNA is seeking an experienced Front-end UX developer to join our team and drive the development and design our new and existing platforms. Reporting to the National ITS Manager, the key responsibilities of the UX Developer will include:

  • Enhancement and redesign of the current UX of our in-house developed system.
  • Working collaboratively with Full-Stack/Back-end developers to deliver a finished product of the highest quality.
  • Understanding of typography, layout, colour and grid structures
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and competitive activity.

Skills & Experience:

  • In order to be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate:
  • Experience as a Front-end developer with a track record of success.
  • An artistic eye for design and the ability to think creatively while maintaining accuracy and a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to deliver solutions to timelines without sacrificing quality
  • Great problem-solving skills, a can-do attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • An understanding of the latest design and development trends and a keen interest in UI design and interactions
  • Ability to work well with ambiguity or when requirements are still in flux
  • A strong understanding in Bootstrap/jQuery/JavaScript/HTML/CSS.
  • Experience with Vue.js/Angular or React would be advantageous.
