Senior Contract Management Officer (Training Procurement)

Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) partners with the Queensland Building and Construction industry by providing programs and initiatives to directly support the growth and development of the skills base of the industry.  Our programs focus on attracting, developing and retaining workers to underpin the future prosperity of building and construction in Queensland.

 

The role

As Senior Contract Management Officer, reporting to the Director Training Procurement, you’ll work within a supportive team to deliver professional training procurement services, contract management, relationship management, education and compliance audit services.

Together with the team, you will be responsible for:

  • Training procurement process including invitations to offer, evaluation of applications and contract allocation.
  • Conducting RTO and client education sessions
  • Relationship Management
  • Contract compliance auditing
  • Reporting and recordkeeping
  • Process improvement, program evaluations and advice

 

You will have:

  • Knowledge of the VET sector, RTOs and their functions, and AVETMISS
  • Knowledge and experience of VET sector procurement.
  • Demonstrated experience with contract management including procurement, performance monitoring, compliance auditing and review.
  • Exceptional relationship building and interpersonal communication skills. Confidence in decision making, presenting information to clients and conflict resolution.
  • Ability and confidence to take ownership of your role while working both autonomously and collaboratively within the team.
  • IT savvy with a high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of applications. Experience with procurement software highly regarded.
  • Strong organisational and administration skills with an eye for detail.
  • High levels of emotional and social intelligence.
