Australian Women's Team and Operations Manager
A key pillar of the Australian cricket strategy is to “Deliver the best High-Performance system for players”. The Australian Women’s Team and Operations Manager will play an integral part of the achievement of this strategy through[PB1]  the support of the National Team.
  
Reporting to the Team Operations Manager, you will be accountable for managing and leading the operations for Australian National Women’s teams, players of national interest, and key pathway / development players.
  
The full-time role involves travel with the Australian Women’s team both in Australia and overseas, including training camps, tours and tournaments. We are looking for someone to lead the Team Operations with a high level of professionalism and innovation. You must demonstrate that you can work as part of a High Performance team, aligned to the Cricket Australia High Performance Strategy. 
  
  
The successful candidate will possess the following key position requirements:
  
Essential:
  • Resilience, Agility, Adaptability, and a ‘no excuses’ approach to work
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and execute multiple tasks
  • IT Proficiency
  • Problem solving capabilities, with proven ability to deliver operational efficiencies across systems and procedures
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience setting and managing significant annual budgets
  • Ability to work autonomously and remotely
  • Proven budget management skills
  • Contract management
  
  
Highly Desirable:
  • Experience delivering team operations in a High Performance sporting environment
  • Travel industry experience or knowledge
  • Experience delivering team operations for cricket teams and a variety of other sports
  • Project Management capabilities
  • Experience as a Team Manager or a role within operations at a sporting organisation
  • Group travel management experience
  • Experience working with female sports teams
  
This Melbourne based role requires an experienced and enthusiastic team member who is committed to providing a high level of service to Australian Cricket.
